I’m so excited to welcome Mariah Coz to the show today! Mariah is the founder of Femtrepreneur, has been an online entrepreneur for 8 years and has built a 7-figure business through online courses and programs. Today she shows why don’t need to be selling business-to-business to be profitable online, where you should start with for the pricing of your first course and why you need to make sure that you are releasing products that you actually have the ability to create!
Mariah has many different niches that she comes across when helping her students. She says the importance of teaching via online course is the connection to what you are teaching.
“We have so many amazing students that are sharing their own personal experiences through their online course and in turn guiding other people through their journey”
For some people who have never sold anything of their own creation, they start out with a low-ticket item as their first online course. This saves time and preparation and also helps with the struggle of self-belief.
Your audience is online already, so Mariah feels that you just need to enter the community where they are at.
She shares that there can be multiple ways to reach your audiences, such as blogs, forums, Facebook, Reddit and more. You can do this by offering free content, workshops and checklists, especially if it is something that has never been seen in that niched community.
“Share as much as you can and don’t be stingy with your smartness”
When it comes to how to position first time offers or products, Mariah notes that too many people focus on the brand without first validating their product.
“Trust that is what is going to create those paid customers”
Once you prove to yourself you are able to sell your $100 product, this is where you gain the confidence to go bigger. Re-invest the profits into creating a bigger course and investing in Facebook ads, better software programs or coaching. Remember, create capital and launching is list-building!
Mariah is launching a first time challenge style info product on how to get your first 100 email subscribers, visit http://www.Femtrepreneur.co/hustle to sign up for this 5 day challenge.
Mariah leaves us with some tips on how to get the momentum going on your first course. She has created this spread sheet that allows you to go to the forums and communities and gather specific information about those groups and how to organize and utilize that information. For example, what people’s complaints may be, or what their biggest desires are. This cannot only help you with your launch but also can assist creating the product or course based off of the information you receive, and she calls this “copy stocking!”
